'Twas the Night Before Christmas

 Hi everyone. Another post for me today but just a quick one.

I created a fun Christmas Scene using the following goodies by Lawn Fawn that I recently acquired -

Den Sweet Den, Christmas Dreams, and Tiny Christmas. 

I stamped all my images then coloured them with polychromo pencils. Everything was die cut and assembled on a background of patterned papers to try and reflect carpet and wallpaper.

Less is More #437 - One Layer Card

 Happy Saturday and welcome to the second half of our birthday challenge!

This fortnight we want to see you create ONE LAYER Flower cards -

Card #1

This is a layer set by Altenew called Vintage Roses. Once I had my image stamped, I used a large sentiment by Kaisercraft to finish it off.

Card #2

This card may not look one layer but it is! I wanted to use my new Hero Arts Unicorn Ink so I stamped a flower from the Happy Little Stampers set called Especially for You. All the retired HLS stamps are on massive clearance HERE.

The white ink is quite juicy and it's hard to get a clear impression when stamping a sentiment. So, I decided to die cut part of the card out then stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card with black ink.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

It's the first Saturday of the month which means a new challenge over at the PBSC.

Anything Goes + optional: Paper Piecing

I decided to just go with Anything Goes this time.

This is a new stamp set for me. It's called Snowfield Friends and is really cute!

I stamped and coloured my images. The sentiment is from a set called 'Hometown Christmas'. I only needed part of the sentiment so I masked it with a post it note prior to stamping.

Less is More #436 - Chocolate

 Hi there! It's big celebration time this month over at Less is More! It's out 10th Birthday!

We have a colour challenge for you -

I have used chocolate chip cardstock to emboss my fun chocolate sentiment on to. So, my colours are chocolate chip and white chocolate :)

HLS February CAS Challenge

 Time for a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. Our Clean and Simple theme for this month is -

I created a two cute cards that would suit many occasions.

Card #1

I stamped the Lawn Fawn images from the 'RAWR' set and coloured them with polychromo pencils. I die cut them out and popped them up with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the same set.

Card #2

I used a SSS heart die and laid it over mirror card. I stamped my images (by Mama Elephant called 'Bear Hugs'), coloured them with polychromos, then fussy cut them out. I've used foam tape on them and the sentiment (by SSS 'Bestie') to pop them up.

Happy Saturday! It's time for a new challenge over at Less is More -

I have created two cards to share with you -

Card #1

I used a new stamp and die set by Lawn Fawn called 'Peas on Earth'. I stamped then coloured my images using polychromos. After die-cutting everything, I assembled the card. The sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn set called 'Home for the Holidays'.

Card #2

Another new set for me by Lawn Fawn called "Hay There". The animals in this set are so adorable. I've stamped and coloured the images once again, then die cut them to assemble the card.

I ordered a couple more sets with gift cards I received for Christmas. The one I used on this card is called 'Jolly Good Times'. I was inspired by this card HERE.

I stamped my images and coloured them with polychromo pencils. I fussy cut them out (which really leaves a lot to be desired...) and popped them up with foam tape. The sentiment is from the 'to all'... set which I heat embossed and just used the Merry Christmas part.

Less is More #434 - Clothing/Fashion

 It's our first challenge for 2021 over at Less is More!

We have a great theme for you -

I didn't really have many stamps to play with for this one. I tried to think outside the box and created Mama Bear creating a new piece of clothing for Baby Bear. Hopefully it will be fashionable too!

I've bought a whole heap of new stamps and dies using Christmas gift vouchers (mostly Lawn Fawn). This adorable scene was created using two of those sets. The bears and knitting accessories are from 'Den Sweet Den' and the 'rug' is actually a beach towel from the 'On the Beach' set.

I coloured all my images using polychromo pencils.

HLS January CAS Challenge

 Hello and yay! Happy Little Stampers is back! It's a new year with new designers (and returning ones!) and a whole heap of new challenges.

Today is the start of our CAS challenge -

We are asking you to keep your creations Clean and Simple while following our theme of Short and/or Tall.

I went with an obvious Tall animal -

I've used a stamp set by Funky Fossil Designs called Wild Things. I stamped the giraffe and sentiment and added colour with my polychromo pencils.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

 Hello and Happy New Year!

I have used a new to me Penny Black stamp called Toadily Happy.

I embossed the toads, coloured them with polychromo pencils then created a mask for them. I used distress ink to create the background then flicked water over the entire panel. I stamped the sentiment after it was completely dry.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

 Happy Saturday everyone! It's time for a new monthly challenge over at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge!

Our theme is -

Anything Goes + optional: Winter Wonderland

The stamp I used is an old wood mounted Penny Black one called Ice Dance.

Once I had stamped this happy fella and coloured him with my polychromo pencils, I created a mask. Once masked I used some distress ink to create a little background colour. With the mask still in place, I used a stencil and glitter paste to create the Winter Wonderland.
