Congrats!

Hi everyone! Did you know that Addicted to CAS is celebrating 4 years of challenges? Wow, I'm so excited. I would like to say a very special thank you to Barb who has been helping out behind the scenes. I would be lost without you, my friend.

The Design Teams over the last 4 years have just been incredible. A huge thank you to past and present designers. Without you, it just wouldn't happen!

I have made a card today to join in with the team :)

Unfortunately this photo doesn't do the card justice. The balloon is a very pretty pink. It looks more like a peach colour here...

I have used the new 'Simply Said' set from Happy Little Stampers.

There are lots of giveaways over at ATCAS so you best be over there and check it all out.

I am entering this card into these fabulous challenges -

Aud Sentiments - Anything Goes with a Sentiment
Southern Girls Challenge - Anything Goes

Thanks for popping in :)

Happy Little Stampers New Release Blog Hop

Hello! I am one excited and happy little stamper right now. There is a new release at Happy Little Stampers and I can't wait to show you the cards I have made!

There are a quite a number of Designers participating in this blog hop and, yes, you have to visit them all and leave a comment to be in the chance to win. The prize is a $50 gift certificate to the HLS shop so it really is worth it!

You should have come straight from the post over at Happy Little Stampers. If you didn't - that's ok! There is a complete list at the bottom of my blog so you can start from the beginning. OR just keep on going through the list and work your way around.

I have started off by using - Especially for You
This is the perfect set for those special occasions.

I stamped my butterfly randomly with versamark ink and embossed them in white powder. I used 3 Brusho colours - Cobalt Blue, Turquoise, and Prussian Blue for the background. I used the ink smooshing technique for this one. I have combined two sets here - the sentiment is from the Simply Said set but more on that one next.

This was a very easy card to make. I stamped all my elements, coloured the heart with a red sharpie, then covered it with an obscene amount of glossy accents.

This set was inspired by my European Adventure back in July when I travelled over to the UK from Australia to host the inagural HLS Craft Retreat!

I really wanted to get the feeling of the girl walking away from the Eiffel Tower and just thankful for the experience. Just like I was :)
The background once again was created by smooshing Brushos.

I kept this card extremely simple. I stamped the tree, star, and sentiment then coloured in with my wink of stella pen. The added sparkle is really cute!

I embossed the background stamp onto watercolour paper and then smooshed the panel into Rose Red and Orange Brushos. I stamped my words, trimmed them down, and adhered them with foam tape for dimension.

For this card, I used some of my Brusho piece that I made at the HLS Craft Retreat back in July. I cut a couple of strips so I could use them as a border for my main panel. I stamped the umbrella, coloured it in, then covered it with glossy accents.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing what I created with the new release. Don't forget to leave some love in the comment section below then pop on to the next blog - Michelle Dees

Giving Thanks Blog Hop

Hi there everyone!

I am very proud to be joining in a very special blog hop - My cards today are for a special blog hop we're having over at STAMPlorations. The STAMPlorations girls and friends have come together for the Giving Thanks blog hop. We're sharing projects that express our gratitude. If you visit and leave comments on the stops in the hop by the 27th of November you could win your choice of (4x6) stamp set from STAMPlorations.

I am representing my challenge blog Addicted to Stamps and More

I was sent a fantastic goody bag from Shery so I could showcase her fabulous new release.

Here is the cool set I was sent to play with -

ohsograteful

CARD ONE

For the first card, I stamped the image in jet black archival ink. I let it dry completely then coloured it in by sprinkling Brushos onto my craft mat, misting them with water and picking up the colour with a brush.

I made a 'smooshed' panel from my Orange brusho and used it to die cut my sentiment.

I also die cut the sentiment three times in black cardstock and glued them altogether to give it wonderful dimension.

Orange brusho splats with created by flicking my paintbrush finished off this card.

CARD TWO

I stamped the sentiment in different colours and die cut it three times.

I loved how this card turned out in its own simplicity.

CARD THREE

The stencil in this pack is awesome! I used my red glitter texture paste to create my panel.

I  'played' with the sentiments to basically create a Valentines Card.

I wasn't quite able to catch the sparkle of this card but believe me it is gorgeous!

CARD FOUR

I couldn't help but watercolour again with this image.

Once the image was dry, I die cut it and used foam squares to pop it up. I stamped the Sentiment in jet black and then used my paintbrush once again to create my splats.

I had so much fun playing with my STAMPloration goodies! Thank you to Shery for being such a wonderful sponsor for Addicted to Stamps and More! and Addicted to CAS (which is being represented by the amazing Barb Ghig!).

If you would like to join in the hop, you can find all the info and links for you to join in HERE

Happy Little Stampers New Release!

Hi everyone. I am quite excited because the new release for Happy Little Stampers arrived just over a week ago. I just haven't had much time to play with them :(

There are 6 new stamp sets that you can now choose from. I really loved how they have all turned out.

I decided to have a quick play with Especially For You. The two cards I made took no time at all. I stamped up the images and simply coloured them with my Sharpie markers - that was a first for me! I highlighted the flowers on both cards with a white gel pen.
