Inkspirational #155

Hi there everyone, time for a new challenge over at Inkspirational. I hope you enjoy our fortnightly challenges!

We have a photo to inspire you for this challenge and here is my card -

Here is the photo -

I was inspired by the colours, the butterfly, and the 'bubbles' in the froth.

For my card, I used a die as an embossing background. I have used embossing enamel on my butterfly and card panel.

Perfectly Succulent

Hi everyone, I'm back with a card using the new release stamps by Happy Little Stampers.

This card is perfect for the gardener's in our lives! It is certainly a hobby that I like :)

This is a one layer card! I used my MISTI to stamp my images and sentiment then coloured them in. I popped a little sparkle over the top using a Spectrum Noir glitter pen.

Two Hearts

Hi there everyone. I have made two cards tonight utilising the same die but creating completely different cards. Thanks to the new challenge that Darnell has started called the 'Twofer Card Challenge', I was able to think outside the box. Congratulations to Darnell and her Design Team :)

You will have to excuse my photography as it is 9pm but I couldn't wait to take my pics.

For my first card, I used the die to create an embossed image. I stamped my lion and sentiment using my MISTI.

For the second card, I used the die and die cut as intended. The die comes out in two parts - the stitched edge and the full heart. I die cut twice using glitter paper and white cardstock. I wanted to stamp my sentiment within the heart then pop it up for dimension.

These cards were simple to create and took no time at all!

Inkspirational #154

Hello! Time for a new challenge over at Inkspirational. I have the pleasure of choosing the challenge and I decided that I would like you make an Aperture Card!

I went with a rustic/vintage Christmas Card.

A combination of dies, layers, and a simple sentiment.

I used some rough distress inking for my houses and trees. I combined a couple of colours for the background and splashed some water for effect.

Guest Designing at Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hi everyone, I was lucky enough to be a winner over at Tic Tac Toe Challenge and now I am their Guest Designer for the new challenge :)

I went with Banner / Emboss / Heart

I really, really struggled to get a decent photo of my card... :(

I embossed a heart die onto my card then cut out my yupo paper smooshed with acrylic paint (leftovers from one of my pours) with the same die. The heart has been popped up with foam.

I heat embossed the sentiment onto my banner so TWO embossed details for this one!

Born to be Wild

Hi! I'm one excited gal because today the new release stamps for Happy Little Stampers arrived.

I have made a quick card before dinner but will get back to the craft room straight after :)

Lot's of embossing for this card! I couldn't wait to ink up the lion. I always knew that I wanted him to shine in Gold. I created my black panel by stamping a chevron several times and embossing in gold.

Another one of my leftover acrylic pours smooshed onto Yupo Paper. I love how this heart turned out! I think it looks like the ocean!

I have stamped the sentiment from the HLS Mix Mash set.

HLS February Watercolour Challenge

Hi everyone! Time for a new Watercolour challenge at Happy Little Stampers!

Here is my card -

My background was created by applying Brusho with a brush to get an Ombre look. I also added a little gold mica powder.

I die cut my little hearts from my strip of black card, embossed the sentiment and attached the Happy die cut (this was cut about 3 times and glued together).
