Less is More #446 - One Layer Card

 Hi and welcome back to a new Less is More challenge!

This challenge REALLY had me stumped. Due to being a one layer card, my die cuts went out the window. I have one small alphabet set so I tried to use them the best I could.

A&A are the initials of my son and daughter-in-law. No, they are not alcoholics and don't go to AA meetings LOL LOL. I used a swirly motif to finish off the monogram. Everything was heat embossed in Gold.

I found a crown stamp and decided to stamp my initials below it. No, I'm not a Queen LOL.

Birthday Duo

 Happy Saturday everyone. I have made a couple of quick birthday cards to share -

Card #1

This is for a co-worker of mine. She LOVES anything by GUESS so I recreated the iconic GUESS pattern by using a Lawn Fawn 'Quilted Background' die. The Happy Birthday is a generic die cut. I used the small flowers from the CAS-ual Fridays 'Pretty Posies' set. I coloured only part of the petal in pink and added gold sequins to the middles.

Card #2

I had these images stamped and sitting on my desk for ages (Lawn Fawn 'Ahoy Matey'). The background die is new and is perfect for a pirate theme. I used Antique Linen and and Vintage Photo distress inks to create my 'map'. I coloured my images, die cut them out and adhered them to the card.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge {Midway Reminder}

 Hi everyone, back to remind you about our Penny Black Saturday Challenge. We are halfway through the challenge -

Anything Goes + optional: Fussy & Fancy

I created a Christmas card using the PB 'Whirl Wreath' Dies. Cut once with gold mirror card and once with white card. I layered them and adhered them to my panel. I added some red gemstones to the wreath.

The sentiment is from the PB 'Snowfield Friends' set which I heat embossed in gold.

Hello!

Over the last couple of days I did this card bit by bit. I'm not well at the moment so when I could, I stamped the images. Later I coloured and die cut them. Then, today I assembled everything together and completed my card.

I have a couple new Lawn Fawn sets (is there an online addiction group??? I need help....). 'Baked with Love' was added to the collection to pair with my other newish set 'A Creature was Stirring'. 

I think these sets are just adorable!

 Welcome back to Saturday! There's a brand new challenge over at Less is More!

We would like you to create something CAS using our colour theme.

I used a cute little rabbit and umbrella stamp from Mama Elephant's 'Ella & Friends' and a sentiment from HLS Rainy Day set.

Very quick and simple! The pale blue sequins were the finishing touch :)

Here is my card - not fussy and not fancy :) It's a birthday card and the sentiment will be on the inside.

I created a birthday card using this cutie from the Penny Black 'Besty Bluebell' set. I coloured her with polychromo pencils, die cut around her using a stitched rectangle die, then popped her up on some patterned paper.
