Here is a close up of the sparkle I added -

You can see how I created the forest in my video tutorial -

Day 12 - Twelve Days of Christmas Cards Challenge

It's the last day! Oh no, I have been having way too much fun sharing my Christmas cards and having my friends join me in this challenge to help you out. The challenge link up will remain open until the 17th of December (AEST) so there is still time to get your cards done and entered!

You can enter as many times as you like! There are prizes up for grabs too!

Here is the card that I am sharing with you today -

I started by masking my card and stamping the script stamp from the HLS Thinking of You set. I popped a bit of HLS Baker's Twine behind my star and die cut the word Joy. I used some gold ink for the splats. This was heaps of fun to make!

I also have a video tutorial for this one - this is the perfect card to mass produce without losing the quality of your Christmas Cards.

I can't wait to introduce the friend that is joining me for Day 12 -

Julie is an amazing cardmaker and valuable member over at Addicted to Stamps and More! Julie was very lucky to meet me..... (whoops). I meant I was very lucky to meet Julie at the HLS Craft Retreat earlier this year :) While I was galavanting around Europe for 4 weeks, Julie held the fort for me at ATSM. She is a superstar! She is a wonderful friend and I am so glad that she is here on the last day of the challenge to help inspire you to play along.

Isn't this just the sweetest! I love this little owl perched on the branch!

I have wonderful sponsors joining us!

Thank you Julie for helping out with the inspiration today.

Day 11 - Twelve Days of Christmas Cards Challenge

Well, here is Day 11. The challenge is coming to an end but I hope that you have been inspired to create heaps of Christmas Cards!

You can enter as many times as you like! There are prizes up for grabs too! The linky tool will be open until 12pm on the 17th of December (AEST)

Here is the card that I am sharing with you today -

This card was fun and easy to make. I drew a circle to give me an idea of where to stamp my first circles. I have used the HLS Mix Mash set to create a Christmas Wreath! The sentiment is from the HLS Mixed Christmas Sentiments and the bow was made with HLS Christmas Twine.

I can't wait to introduce the friend that is joining me for Day 11 -

Anita and I have known each other since... well it feels like forever. Anita has been on my Design Team Addicted to Stamps and More! and is currently on the CAS team at Happy Little Stampers. She is a brilliant cardmaker! Anita is another lady that I got to meet in person for the HLS Craft Retreat. How lucky am I? Anita is loving, caring, and a wonderful friend. I am so excited for her to be joining me with this challenge :)

Anita's embossed holly is just beautiful. I love that panel, Anita!

I have wonderful sponsors joining us!

Winners will be drawn at random :)

Day 10 - Twelve Days of Christmas Cards Challenge

Day 10! The time has flown by. I hope you have been enjoying the inspiration so far :)

You can enter as many times as you like! There are prizes up for grabs too! The linky tool will be open until 12pm on the 17th of December (AEST)

Here is the card that I am sharing with you today -

I have to say that this card gave me a lot of grief :( I was trying something new from my stash - Ranger Gold Tinsel embossing powder. This takes a bit of trial and error. Well it did for me lol. Because it is a combination of embossing powder and glitter, you have to be careful that you don't get more glitter than embossing powder when you sprinkle it onto your sentiment/image. The only way I could try and get a decent mixture is shake the bottle first and then hope for the best. I'm sure it is only me that has this problem....

After I stamped the 'Merry' from the HLS Everyday Sentiments set, I used my embossing pen to add ink where I wanted to partly emboss. I didn't get the best coverage on the first try so I just repeated what I did and it turned out pretty well. The holly is from the HLS Christmas Joy set which I coloured then covered with clear wink of stella. A few splats finished this off :)

I can't wait to introduce the friend that is joining me for Day 10 -

DARNELL KNAUSS

Darnell is well known in blogland for her witty and fun blog posts. Not only that but she is an amazing cardmaker! Once again, Darnell is someone that I met in the UK for the HLS Craft Retreat. Darnell flew all the way from the US of A to be part of the retreat. We had a fantastic weekend together. I loved meeting her and we have memories that will last a lifetime.

Darnell, I love this card! All that sparkle is so pretty! Darnell has used the Big Bold Numbers from HLS and has used them beautifully!!!

I have wonderful sponsors joining us!
Thank you Darnell for helping out with the inspiration today.

Day 9 - Twelve Days of Christmas Cards Challenge

Day 9 is up and ready to go! Have you linked up yet? There is plenty of time.

You can enter as many times as you like! There are prizes up for grabs too! The linky tool will be open until 12pm on the 17th of December (AEST)

Here is the card that I am sharing with you today -

This card was heaps of fun to make. I die cut my poinsettia then covered it with Aged Scarlet Embossing Enamel. Through a bit of trial and error, I have decided that the best way to use this on large dies like this is to cover the die cut with versamark ink, sprinkle some of the enamel powder onto a craft mat (or piece of scrap paper), then press the versamark'd side into the powder. The enamel has lots of different chunky colours through it and if you just sprinkle it on from the bottle, it doesn't mix the colours very well. By putting in onto a piece of paper I can control more of what I get in my end result. I emobssed the sentiment from the HLS Christmas Joy set in gold.

I can't wait to introduce the friend that is joining me for Day 9 -

Sarah has been a teamie of mine at Addicted to Stamps and More! and Addicted to CAS. Look out in 2017 because she is joining the Happy Little Stampers CAS team! She is a brilliant cardmaker. I had the pleasure of meeting her, also, at the HLS Craft Retreat earlier this year. There is something amazing about meeting fellow online crafters in person. Sarah is so friendly and just a lovely, lovely person. I'm privledged to have met her.

Whenever I see Sarah use my stamps, I am in awe. She takes them to the next level with her imagination and creativity!

I have wonderful sponsors joining us!

Winners will be drawn at random :)

Thank you Sarah for helping out with the inspiration today.

This card is very CAS but really delivers the message. I have used the trees from the HLS Christmas Joy set and added the little heart. The sentiment is from the HLS Mixed Christmas Sentiments set.

Carol is an amazing friend. We got to meet in the UK earlier this year at the HLS Craft Retreat. Wow, that was a fantastic weekend! Carol took delivery of goods for me and brought them to the retreat - she did a demo on Day 2 that was sensational. She is on the Design Teams over at Addicted to Stamps and More! and Happy Little Stampers. I love her to bits!

Wow, isn't this card super festive and just amazing! Those poinsettia's are stunning, Carol! The sentiment is from the HLS Everyday Sentiments set.
