Day 9 - Twelve Days of Christmas Cards Challenge

Day 9 is up and ready to go! Have you linked up yet? There is plenty of time.

You can enter as many times as you like! There are prizes up for grabs too! The linky tool will be open until 12pm on the 17th of December (AEST)

Here is the card that I am sharing with you today -

This card was heaps of fun to make. I die cut my poinsettia then covered it with Aged Scarlet Embossing Enamel. Through a bit of trial and error, I have decided that the best way to use this on large dies like this is to cover the die cut with versamark ink, sprinkle some of the enamel powder onto a craft mat (or piece of scrap paper), then press the versamark'd side into the powder. The enamel has lots of different chunky colours through it and if you just sprinkle it on from the bottle, it doesn't mix the colours very well. By putting in onto a piece of paper I can control more of what I get in my end result. I emobssed the sentiment from the HLS Christmas Joy set in gold.

I can't wait to introduce the friend that is joining me for Day 9 -

Sarah has been a teamie of mine at Addicted to Stamps and More! and Addicted to CAS. Look out in 2017 because she is joining the Happy Little Stampers CAS team! She is a brilliant cardmaker. I had the pleasure of meeting her, also, at the HLS Craft Retreat earlier this year. There is something amazing about meeting fellow online crafters in person. Sarah is so friendly and just a lovely, lovely person. I'm privledged to have met her.

Whenever I see Sarah use my stamps, I am in awe. She takes them to the next level with her imagination and creativity!

I have wonderful sponsors joining us!

Winners will be drawn at random :)

Thank you Sarah for helping out with the inspiration today.

All our cards and your entries will be pinned HERE!
