Less is More #427 - Chalkboard Technique

Hello and welcome to Saturday and another new challenge over at Less is More!

We have a lucky dip challenge - check it out:

Card #1
This card was used by simply white embossing onto black card and then using a sponge and white ink to create the look of a blackboard (that's what we call them in Australia). I added the sequins for a pop of colour

Card #2
I continued with the same colour scheme and created a card without a sentiment so it could be used down the track. I thought this stamp paired well with the blackboard as it looks like this cool cat is at school :)

I would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges -
Card #1 - Crimbo Crackers (Anything Christmas Goes), Watercooler Wednesdays (Occasions), Mix it Up Challenge (Embossing)
Card #2 - CRAFT (Back to School), Krafty Chicks (All Occasions), Paper Funday (Back to School), Show us your Pussies (Furrything Goes)

Thanks for popping in today and I hope to see you over at the challenge blog :)

  4. Two great cards Kylie. Love the addition of the gems on the second one. We call them blackboards in the UK too, or at least us oldies still do lol.
