Hello! Day 4 already!
Each day I will create a Christmas card and hopefully inspire you to play along in my link up. I will be joined by a friend, daily, who will also create for you!
Here is my card -
I created this card with an Australian Christmas in mind. A lot of people take to the roads with their caravan and camping gear and holiday around the country. Actually, if you are crazy enough to travel at Christmas time, you will see every second car is towing a caravan lol.
This little die set is new to me and the first time I've used it. It's probably the last time... it was so fiddly, I ended up needing a stiff drink!
Today I have Ina Grehan creating for us. I love the gold embossed poinsetta's and sentiment and that background is stunning!
Thank you for joining us with your inspiration, Ina!
I also have a little surprise for each of my guests. I decided that for each daily post, I would CASE one of their cards.
Here is Ina's card
Perfect Aussie Christmas scene Kylie. Such a fun layout. Thanks so much for inviting me to join in this Hop. I love how you have cased my card and reminded me of an easy CAS card to redo for this year. Gorgeous colours.
ReplyDeleteLove your 'Sandy/camping' scene. Great to see a non traditional Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteYour Australian Christmas scene is delightful; a Christmas without snow and cold would be very different from my experience *grin* Ina's card: ever so lovely! Once again, your selection of card to case and your version: beautiful! The split panels are striking!

Love these cards! What a great scene and I love Ina's background and 3 panel creation! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love your card with Christmas Aussie style with the caravan and camping theme Kylie, and the pretty poinsettia card from Ina, and your version of her beautiful panel card in more bright reds is gorgeous too. x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! Love the one you CASE'd
ReplyDeletePerfect Aussie Christmas card - I have been one of those mad Christmas campers - even down to hanging the Christmas tree from a handy tent pole! Glad you persevered with the die!
ReplyDeleteLove Ina's cards too and your CASE...
Now I cannot relate to the first card as we have cold weather in CT on Christmas but I LOVE it. It is so fun!! LOVE your CASE too.
ReplyDeleteOf course, for people living in the Land Down Under it's time of beach parties and summer sun.
ReplyDeleteThree three red watercolour panels are perfect background for the golden sentiment and sparkly stars.
