Inkspirational #171 - Comfort

Hey everyone! It's time for a new challenge over at Inkspirational and we have a word prompt for you to play with over the next couple of weeks.

Here is my card -

At the time of making this card, I needed a hug. I had just heard that one of my good crafty/blogging friends had suddenly passed away. This card will go to her family.

The heart was die cut out of yupo paper that I had used to scoop up leftover paint after an acrylic pour.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges -

Try it on Tuesday - Black, White, and one other colour
The Crafter's Cafe - Black, White, and one other colour
Double Trouble Challenges - Black, White, and one other colour (thanks for the heads up, Cass)

I hope you will join us over at Inkspirational where our word prompt is - Comfort.

  3. Kylie, this card is so beautiful. When I look at her, I see your wonderful heart. The heart that you give to other people. The news of Melissa's death hit us all, I know how you feel when you think about it. This card will definitely be a small ray in those difficult times for Melissa's family.
    Hugs,

  10. Fabulous CAS design - love the effects achieved on the mop up Yupo.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, though... our stamping friends become so precious and it's hard when they go. A few months ago one of my very special crafter friends passed away, just as another told me she was very ill, so I can imagine just how you feel. Big hugs from me!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful art with us at TIOT. It would be lovely to see you again in our next challenge.
