Good morning everyone. Ready for a new CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers?
Don't forget that we are looking for crafters to join us on our Design Teams for all our monthly challenges. We have a Sketch Challenge, CAS Challenge and a new Christmas Challenge starting in July. Pop on over to the blog for all the news.
Here is my DT card
I went back to school for this card ;)
I sprinkled brushos onto my watercolour card and then sprayed with water. Using a straw, I blew the colour around to create this cool effect!
My die cut is the 'Happy' from Whimsy stamps and I embossed 'Birthday'.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges
Thanks so much for looking xx
Love this technique Kylie!! It works so well with the Brushos. Gorgeous colours and fabulous CAS design. I'm going to have to get the "Happy" die ... it's awesome!! xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a stunning background needs very little else . . . this is just gorgeous! Hazel xx
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous background Kylie, love this. Carol x
ReplyDeleteWow, Kylie! I wish I could get my Brushos to look this good! The white is so pretty against the bright blue!
ReplyDeleteYou have really out-done yourself on this card, Kylie...WOW! Such a beautiful effect with your Brushos, water and a straw! Your die cut sentiment really pops against the background, and I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous background! Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteGreat background. Love the colors too. Thanks so much for joining us at Seize the Birthday.
ReplyDeleteSuper background and what a terrific masculine card idea! Thanks for joining us over at Seize the Birthday and we appreciate you!
ReplyDeleteKylie, I LOVE this! Love the intense blue color and the way you've spread it with the straw! If you have the Ranger Spritz tool, that is great to use also, as you can get very fine lines of color. Brusho-s are my current fav item, and I think you got a magnificent look with this background and the bold white die cuts. Hope I can join in with this challenge. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteThat background is awesome... and that bright big happy... makes me happy!!
