HLS February CAS Challenge

Well! Hello February! Today marks the start of a brand new CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers. Here is the theme we would like you to use -


Emboss something whether heat or dry and make sure it is CAS!

We had over 100 entries for our last challenge and I can't thank you all enough for your support. I hope you will find time to play along in both the Sketch and CAS challenges this month.

Here is my card



This is a crazy sort of card for me - not my normal use of embossing powder but the end result was quite fun.

I pounced my versamark ink pad straight onto my die cut panel and then just randomly sprinkled different colours of embossing powder about the place. As I was heating it, the powders combined a little and gave this really cool 'marble' effect (even on the border of psychedelic lol) Maybe that's a new technique? Let me know if you have seen it before.

The colours pop off the card nicely with the white background.

    This is so pretty Kylie. Love the combination of colours of your embossing powders. I have not seen this before, so you may have invented a new technique! :) xx

    Fabulous technique - a cross between marbled and water-coloured shimmery. Incredibly pretty!
