STAMPlorations Monthly Challenge

Hi there everyone. We have a brand new challenge happening at STAMPlorations.

We want you to use

I have been embossing more than ever lately. I think my new Distress Inks have something to do with it. The two work so well together.

Here is my DT card -

I have used two stamp sets here. Bloom Sketches: Daisy 2 and Bloom Sketches: Sunflower Artsy
I tried to make my daisies more like sunflowers and to compensate I used the sentiment from the Sunflower set :)

First, I die cut a circle and then stamped and masked my three daisies. Then keeping the mask in place, I sponged Broken China distress ink for the background.

To colour the flowers, I used a cotton bud with Mustard Seed and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks.

The sentiment was embossed too.

I used the Fusion Challenge as inspiration for this card - I once again, went with both the photo and the sketch.

I would also like to enter my card into these fabulous challenges -

Patties Creations - Embossing
TimeOut - Stamping
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes

You can find the new challenge for STAMPlorations HERE

Thanks so much for looking xx
