Yep, another post for me! It has been stinking hot here today. So much so, that I had a little nana nap this afternoon which is very unusual for me. I brought up an extra fan to keep me and the animals a bit cooler. Now, we have a storm heading our way. At least the temperature should drop a little.
I have made a card this afternoon (after my nap) for the challenge over at
My new printer arrived yesterday so I was able to grab some freebies from TAWS to work with. As I am still in need of lots of Christmas cards, I chose the image called 'Trees'.
Here is my card -
I have printed the digital stamp onto blender paper, coloured the trees with my Spectrum Noir pens, cut them out and popped them up with dimensionals. The photo inspired me to use polka dots.
UPDATED: Thanks to the amazing Loll, I have been steered towards these challenges too!
One more Christmas card done, tonnes to go!!
Thanks so much for looking xx
Cute card!
ReplyDeleteI do love these trees, the middle one with the heart is so cute. I need to get ink then I must check out this site x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely arty Christmas tree card, I like it very much.
ReplyDeleteThose trees look great on the kraft background. xx
ReplyDeleteVery cute, I love the festive trees.
ReplyDeleteHi Kylie. Fabulous card! Love those fun trees ... especially paired with the polka-dot paper and backed with kraft - all so perfect together. I'm not sure what a "nana nap" is ... you Aussie's have some strange sayings :) ... but since I'm going to be a "nana" soon, I'm hoping it doesn't mean something like old lady :)
ReplyDeleteFYI, there are a couple of Christmas challenges that are running right now that your card fits ... Holly Jolly Christmas where they are asking for trees ... and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge - theme is outdoors! Loll xx
This is so pretty! My style is busy, busy, busy, so when I see something as lovely as this, in its simplicity, I am awed. Thank you for sharing your talent with us at Soartful!
ReplyDeleteI do like these Christmas trees - bold and bright! Simply super.
ReplyDeleteI love the Christmas trees! They are colorful and full of holiday spirit! Thanks for joining us at the TAWS BE Inspired challenge!
ReplyDeleteThanks for entering this lovely card for my CHNC challenge extra for November - hope to see you again soon. This would also be just right for CHNC challenge 150: outdoors - would love to see it there too. x
ReplyDeleteYour trees are lovely and make a perfectly wonderful card!
