Hello! Happy New Year!
It's exciting times at Happy Little Stampers: the New Year has made way for a new challenge. Instead of our monthly sketch challenge, we have decided to go with CASEing one of our designers each month.
To create this card, I used Brushos on Glossy cardstock. I have a video tutorial for this technique below. The pink splatters were created by smearing Distress Ink onto my craft mat, picking it up with a wet brush and flicking it onto the panel.
I used the HLS Thinking of You set for my sentiment. I placed the butterfly right on top of the words thinking he looked right at home :)
The Design Team have all CASED my card over at the blog so if you are stuck for ideas, pop over there and see amazing inspiration from them.
I can't wait until I get my butterfly stamps and dies so I can CASE you, Kylie, although it will be without Brushos. I'm thinking a bit of smooshing will be in order.
ReplyDeleteI love the warm, sunshiny colours on this card Kylie - wishing for some warm sunshine in my neck of the woods right now! Great classic design and I really enjoyed the video. Happy New Year my friend.
