Inspired by Stamping - Spring Lilacs

Hi there everyone! How are you today? I am so much better and have just about got over my bronchitis.

Today I am going to share with you the beautiful Spring Lilacs set from Inspired by Stamping.

I decided I wanted to incorporate a tag onto my card which is something I haven't done before. I'm liking all these 'firsts' that I am attempting :)

Here is my card -

The first thing I did was use distress inks on the tag. The tag has a glossy finish so it was hard to stamp on it and get it to dry. In the end I smudged everything with my finger and it looked great!

Once my tag was completed, I looked at designing the rest of my card. I have embossed the bottom panel and then used distress inks around the edges. I cut a smaller panel and used distress ink on that as well. I then layed a doily over the top of the panel with die cut leaves. The tag has been placed on top with foam tape.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges

  2. wow hon, you are going for the mixed media look and it suits you! I love the colours you have used and the image is perfect for this. Doily as well...goodness, but it really compliments the colours and design x

  5. The finger smudging has given a fab effect to the tag. Also like d soft colours of d bg which make d tag standout.
