Inkspirational - Anything Goes

Hey there everyone, we have a brand new challenge for you over at Inkspirational.
I have been pretty much missing in action as we have been without power for the last few days due to the storms here in Queensland. The storm also kept us very busy at the Fire Brigade dealing with fallen trees and the odd smoke alarm going off. Today there was an accident where a car met with a tree and as part of the Fire Service, we cut the driver out of the wreck and placed her in the safe hands of the paramedics. She was air lifted to hospital so I hope she is ok.
Now, the good news is that I have electricity!! Yay.
I am way behind with EVERYTHING! So with in between the clean up from the storm etc. I am going to try and spend some quality hours with my blogs.
Phew! Way off the track there. Now back to the challenge.
This week is
Here is my DT card for this challenge -
In between everything that has been happening I managed to make my mum her birthday card. I have used the Triple Time Stamping technique and used my Growing Green set in Poppy Parade and Concord Crush.
The Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock was lovely for this technique.
I have popped the top panel up with foam pads.
The sentiment is from my Heard from the Heart set.
We have a prize for our January winner which is from
We can't wait to see what you come up with for our final challenge for January. Please don't forget to read the rules over at the challenge blog.
Thanks for looking xx

Triple Time Stamping Technique

Hi everyone. Mum and I did a little crafting today and I wanted to show her how to create a Triple Stamping card. We decided to make a Thank you card for my neighbour who was very generous and took us out on his Catamaran yesterday. We all got waaaaay too much sun but we had an amazing time pumping for yabbies, fishing, swimming and walking through the sand.

We chose The Open Sea set as it was most appropriate lol.

This is my card -

I decided to go with the Triple Stamping Technique. I have used Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla cardstock for my layers. The sentiment is from my Sassy Salutations set. I fussy cut the anchor and tied it on with Baker's twine.

I am entering my card into the following challenges -

Sweet Stamping Challenge - SEEING DOUBLE (I have used the world stamp twice)
MAWTT - Thank you creations
Sassy Studio Designs - Thank you card

Here is my mum's card -

Mum has used blues for her card which looks so lovely! I love how she has torn the paper too. The hemp twine was used to 'hold up' her anchor. The sentiment is from my Fun in the Sun set.

I am also going to enter my mum's card in these challenges -

MAWTT - Thank you creations
Sassy Studio Designs - Thank you card

Thank you so much for looking xx

Triple Time Stamping x 3

This SHOULD be my last post today lol. I haven't been able to help myself today.
Danielle inspired me so much with her Christmas Card using the Triple Time Stamping Technique that I just had to give it a go. I think I'm a little addicted to it.....
I have made three cards. The first one is for my grandfather's birthday this month. Today I got a parcel of goodies which included this awesome stamp set - The Open Sea. It is just beautiful and will be very versatile. I love the variety of stamps and they worked so well together when using them to create a background. The sentiment is from my Petite Pairs set which has been stamped with Chocolate Chip.

For the stamping, I have used the following markers directly onto the stamps - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and Chocolate Chip.

I would like to enter this card into the challenge over at Simply Stampin' where you need to create your own background.

My next card will be for one of my son's teachers. He finishes school in a few weeks and I wanted to show my appreciation to his educators. Here I have used one of the stamps from my Elements of Style set in Sahara sand and then stamped the butterflies in Old Olive and Night of Navy. The ribbon is another new acquistion - Summer Starfruit.

My last card has been stamped with the same stamp from the Elements of Style set, again in Sahara Sand. I then used my Reason to Smile set in Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose. The sentiment is from my Sassy Salutations set

I really enjoyed using this technique. It is so easy and very effective. The sky is the limit, I reckon!!

Thanks for looking xx
