Inkspirational #159

Time for a new challenge at Inkspirational. We have a word for you to 'play' with this fortnight.

When I saw our word prompt, I immediately thought of dress ups and playing as a kid. This pirate is from a set that I bought while over in the UK. I stamped the little skull and crossbones to create a background. The pirate was coloured using Wink of Stella glitter pens and fussy cut out. I popped him up with foam tape. Last but not least, I stamped the sentiment.

That's it from me - I hope to see you over at the challenge :)

Inkspirational #158

Time for another awesome challenge over at Inkspirational! We have a cool photo to inspire for this one :)

A very simple card. Stamped image and sentiment then I used a bit of a criss-cross colouring style using Zig glitter pens.

Take any element you like from the photo. I feel a bit sorry for this bloke - that rain is pelting down hard and just on him!!

Merry and Bright

Hello! I had some fun last night playing in my new home. I have a two car garage which is now my craft room! Who puts their car in the garage anymore?? Not me!! LOL.

It's a pretty cool setup because I can either have music playing or even watch Netflix on the computer while crafting.

I combined two of the new release stamp sets from Happy Little Stampers to create this Christmas card.

I stamped the sentimet (from the Let it Snow set) using my MISTI. I then randomly stamped my Christmas berries (from the Merry Kissmas set) around the edge of my panel. I coloured them with two different shades of red (Sharpie Markers) and then went over them with a glitter pen. I also used a white gel pen to highlight.

Supplies:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges -

Stamps and Fun - Clean and Simple
Sweet Stampin' Christmas - Anything Goes

Thanks for popping today :)

HLS April CAS Challenge

Hello again! Yes, it is time again for a new CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers.

We would like you to use Chevrons on your Clean and Simple cards.

Here is mine -

These chevrons came home with me all the way from England. While over there for the HLS Craft Retreat, I was able to stay with Sarah P and was able to raid her stash of dies :)

I coloured the strips with Sharpies and covered them with glitter using my Spectrum Noir glitter pen.

Here's a close up of the sparkle -

The sentiment is from the new Dandelion Wishes set and the sequins finished it off.

HLS April Watercolour Challenge

Well, hello April! I hope you are ready for a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers? We always kick off a new month with our Watercolour Challenge.

We would love if you played along with our optional twist but you don't have to. Anything Goes!

Here is my card -

I stamped my sentiment with Versafine black ink and embossed with clear powder. I masked it off and placed a stencil over the entire panel and used my versamark pad to smooch ink through the stencil. I then embossed it all with white powder.

Using Zigs, I watercoloured the panel to create a rainbow.

Below is actually my first panel that I made but for some reason I didn't quite like it. It will grow on me and end up on a card, I'm sure :)

I have finally moved house. It took nearly 5 days of solid moving - thank god it was just around the corner! Unpacking has nearly come to an end.

I hope to see you over at the challenge blog!
