Hey there everyone! It's time for a new challenge over at Inkspirational where our theme is TRAVEL.
I used my London skyline (HLS - Wish you were Here) and paired with a sentiment from Whimsy stamps. I have been lucky enough to travel to the UK three times over the last few years. I really love London, especially the theatre. Sandie and Val look after me so well when I visit and I hope to visit more!
This card seriously only took a few minutes to put together - easy!

Hey there everyone! Time for our CAS challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. Just a really quick post for me today.
Yep, this could be a tricky one but I thought outside the box!
My fantasy/dream would be to move to the UK. I love it over there! I used the HLS Wish you were here set for the London skyline and sentiment. I crossed out 'you' and replaced it with 'I'.
I smooshed my ATC with brusho. Once dry I stamped my images and words. The Eiffel Tower is part of a set that was inspired by my trip to the UK for the inaugural HLS Craft Retreat. I then went on to France and Spain. Well, next month I'm off again to the UK for the next fun craft retreat so this ATC is quite appropriate!
I've used a white pen to add some highlights. This was very quick and easy to create!
I hope to see you at the challenge blog with your ATC ideas :)
Card #2 features the London Skyline from the Wish you were Here set. Again I used my MISTI to stamp. I added a strip of black glitter foam for interest.
Card #3 is a simple cat die cut. The sentiment is from the Especially for You set and a strip of glitter foam attached.
Card #4 is another simple die cut using the Moustache Set and then stamped sentiments from the Bold Birthday Sentiments (retired) and Everyday Sentiments.
The beauty about clean and simple cards is that they are so quick to create! These four cards took me about 15 minutes all up!
Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE.
Me again! Yep, two posts in one day.... what's going on? Well, I usually only get time to create for my DT assignments but I really love it when I get in the groove and create just for fun. I haven't been well for a few months now but hopefully things will settle down soon. Thank goodness our winter here in Queensland doesn't get down to the extreme temps our southern states do otherwise I would probably have new-moan-ya...
Ok, I was totally inspired by the mood board over at Scrapbook Boutique. My card only took minutes to make and if I hadn't added the sequins, it would be totally one layer.
Here is my card
I used distress ink through a stencil to create my background then using my MISTI, I stamped my images from the HLS Wish you were Here set.
The sequins were the finishing touch.

Hi there! Time for a new challenge over at Inkspirational! I hope you will be able to play along with us :)
This fortnight our challenge is -
Carol has chosen this theme for us!
Here is my DT card -
I tossed up a number of ideas on using a window on my card. I was going to make a shaker card but then decided to go with something a little more simple.
I created a window card using oval dies.
I embossed my flowers and leaves (from Altenew) with gold tinsel powder then coloured them with my Zigs. I fussy cut them out and arranged them around my window. The sentiment is from the HLS Wish you Were Here set.

So what ideas will you have for this theme? Don't forget to think outside the box. Perhaps you may create something that you see outside your window? See you over at Inkspirational!
Hi there everyone! Time again for another fun challenge at Inkspirational! We have a very cool theme for you this fortnight -
Here is my take on 'Urban'
I embossed my London skyline and sentiment and then used the Brusho, Starch, and cling wrap technique to create my background. I haven't done this since the HLS retreat last year so it was good to be playing again. This is such a great way to create amazing backgrounds.
I love the colours and effects you get! I was a little impatient with this one and took the cling wrap off a bit too early. Still, great results!
Here is my video tutorial I made some time ago which explains the process of this technique. PLUS a couple of other ways to use Brusho Crystal Powders too!
I hope to see you play along at Inkspirational for this challenge. The other girls have come up with awesome makes too so please pop on over to check them out.
Here is a summary of the products I used for this card -
We would like you to use a stencil on your CAS projects.
Here is my card -
I created a background using brushos and a stencil. I stamped my bus from the HLS Wish you were Here set and fussy cut it out. I created a road with black card and a white pen.
Hello! Happy New Year!!!! I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and are now ready to kick off 2017 :)
Today is the start of the brand new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers! It is our watercolour challenge. We are very excited about this one. It has been months in the making and we also have new designers joining our team. You can see all the details over at the HLS blog.
Our theme for January is
Anything Goes! That's right - just make sure you use watercolouring or a watercolouring technique on your entry. You also have the option to use a stencil.
I have made two cards both with our optional twist.
My first card was created by using the Brusho and Stencil technique and watercolour paper. I LOVE doing this.
