Many Thanks [Reveal Wheel]

 Hello!
I decided to spend some time in my craft room yesterday to create a specific card I needed.

When I had my surgery, my mum and step-father drove up the East coast of Australia (about 1300kms) so they could be at home with me to help while I was in recovery.

I had to post something to mum and wanted to include a card to say a huge thank you.

I decided on a new to me stamp and die set which was a collaboration set by Lawn Fawn and Hero Arts.
It's called 'Big Thanks'. The palm trees are from the LF set called 'Life is Good'.

I decided to make a reveal wheel card.
Below you can see that the sentiment changes when the wheel is spun.

I coloured all the images with my Zig Real Brush markers.
The sky and grass were created using distress oxides.
I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers (Colourful (no snark from me this time)), My Time to Craft (No Patterned Papers), Crafter's Cafe (Layer it Up), Crafty Animals (Anything Goes), Dies R Us (Anything Goes with a brand they sell), Addicted to Stamps and More (Die Cuts and/or Stencils),

Thanks for popping in today xx

Less is More #448 - CASE

Happy Saturday! Yep, time for a new challenge over at Less is More!

Here is my card -

As it is Elaine's birthday when the post goes live, she will be giving us a card to CASe. Happy Birthday Elaine!

I love this card by Elaine. I followed along with using a flower image and small sentiment. I decided to only use the tiles on a certain part of my image and create an eclipse effect. The difference being that I didn't colour the flower first. I coloured the individual tiles once cut.

I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -
Krafty Chicks (All Occasions), Watercooler Wednesdays (Occasions), Allsorts (For a Lady), Love to Craft (Anything Goes), Creative Knockouts (Die Cuts/Punches)

Thank you for popping in and I hope you will join in to CASE Elaine's card.

Slimline Birthday

Hi everyone and happy Saturday. I'm still at home recovering from surgery and with a couple of new Lawn Fawn sets hitting my letterbox, I decided to go all out and create a slimline birthday card.

It's still winter here in Australia but I always love making summery cards.

I decided to create a fun birthday party with the kids playing with a pinata, one 'naughty boy' climbing the tree, and the cake ready to go.

We then go down to the sand where there is a crab popping out to say hi.

Then under the water there is another birthday party happening and the octopus is very happy with his gifts so far.

There is a combination of new and old on this card. The crab, seashell, palm trees, and starfish are from the 'Life is Good' set (which I bought many years ago).
The new 'Tiny Birthday Friends' set was used for the top party scene.
The underwater scene used 'Ocean Shell-fies' and 'Christmas Fishes'.
The sentiment is from 'Hay There'.
I also used a couple of stencils - 'Clouds', and 'Ocean Waves'. The grass was created using the 'Grassy Border' die.

I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -
Lawn Fawn (Summertime Fun), Alphabet Challenge (Use 'Happy' in your sentiment), Challenge up your Life (Beach Time), Country View Crafts (Use a Stencil or Two), Crafter's Cafe (Layer it Up), Dies R Us (Anything Goes with a brand they sell), Craft Rocket Challenges (Summer), Watercooler Wednesdays (Any Occasion), Inspiration Station (Photo Below)

Thank you for popping in and have a great weekend!

I usually go a little crazy with inspiration for Christmas cards but I ran out of time due to being unwell and having surgery blah, blah. So, just the one card today!

My card was simply made using a die cut with gold mirror card, a stamped sentiment, and sequins to finish it off.

I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -
Creative Craft Cottage Challenge (Christmas in July), Lost Coast Designs (Christmas in July), Little Red Wagon (Christmas), The Male Room (Christmas in July)

Rub a Dub Dub

Hi and how are you? I'm recovering well from my surgery last week and just trying to take things easy. Thank you to everyone who has sent me their best wishes - it is really appreciated :)

I have a quick card to show you today -

I combined two Lawn Fawn sets - New to me 'Rub-a-Dub-Dub' and 'Ocean Shell-fie' to create this cute birthday card.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn 'Hay There' set.
I used the Quilted Background die also from Lawn Fawn. It's one of my favourites!
There was lots of die-cutting involved and putting all the little images together was fun.

I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -
Crafty Gals Corner (One for the Boys), Colour Crazy Challenge (Anything Goes), Cut it Up (Water), Bastel-Traum (Animals), Daisy Chain Challenge (Use dies and/or stencils), Dies R Us (Anything Goes with a brand they sell)
