I'm so excited to be back and creating for Addicted to CAS and I can't wait to see what you all come up with this fortnight.
Here is our new Code Word - the first for 2013!
We are so lucky to have a terrific sponsor with us for this challenge. Beverley from Uniko Studios is offering an amazing prize pack for our CAS Perfectionist.
All the prize details can be found on the challenge blog.
I have two cards to share with you today.
My first card is using the butterfly image that you can see in the digi pack offered by Uniko Studios. I have coloured it with my Stampin' Write markers and then gone over it with my clear gelly roll pen. This gave it LOTS of sparkle!
I have embossed my panel with my Lattice folder (one of my favourites).
My second card is using my Elements of Style set and that awesome glimmer paper! Are you sick of seeing this yet? ;)
The Hummingbird was stamped with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler powder. The Crumbcake, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black go so well together. I have doodled my border with my White gel pen.
Now, head on over to see what the DT have come up with. As usual, they have created spectacular examples for your inspiration. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing team!
Thanks so much for looking xx

ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards Kylie. Loll xx
ReplyDeleteBoth card are so gorgeous Kylie!
ReplyDeleteHi Kylie. Two beauties! Love how you have used the butterfly image. You know, I had some red embossing powder and it went off. I didn't think it would do that. It just wouldn't emboss properly when I applied the heat. Mind you it was a few years old. I have had no problems with other colours.
ReplyDeleteCrafty Hugs, Florence xx
So beautiful cards Kylie!!! I love all the glitter that the gelly roll pen adds to the butterfly... And the kraft-black-red colour combo is one of my favourite ones!
ReplyDeleteI could never get tired of seeing that gorgeous glittered red paper! I love the white accents! The colors on the butterfly look amazing on that purple embossed background too! Gorgeous cards!
ReplyDeleteBoth your cards are beautiful kylie:) Thankyou for your lovely king words on my blog - so far in Tassie we are not in the fire affected areas and hopefully no more fires start! Stay safe if you have to go and fight any fires - it must be so scary - hugs x x
ReplyDeleteThat square lattice EF is my favorite too! The butterfly is gorgeous sitting on it! Love the hummingbird too!
ReplyDeleteKylie these are both gorgeous but my favourite is the humming bird. I love the frames you've put around it and the simple colour scheme. Just fabulous! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteKylie,
ReplyDeleteI love both cards, the first one is so colorful (And everything is grey and white in Germany, so that's just what I need) and the second one so elegant!
As I LOVE the combo of red and kraft the second one is my favorite!
Hugs
