Less Is More #398 - OLC Spots

Hello! It's time for a new challenge at Less Is More! We would like you to create a ONE LAYER CARD using our theme of  Spots.

I've made two cards for you:

Card #1
I was inspired by something I saw on pinterest. A piece of spotty fabric used on a card to create a gift.
I traced around the inside of a square die, then randomly stamped my spots (from HLS). I then used a black pen to create the outside of the box and the bow.

Card #2
I used my new MFT stamp set to create this one layer card. I stamped the deer, coloured him with polychromo pencils, then lastly added his spots with a white gel pen.

We have a wonderful Guest Designer joining us this fortnight - Maria Rodriguez!

Our awesome sponsor is

I hope to see you at LIM with your one layer spotty card :)

I would like to enter my cards into the following challenges:
Card #1 - Crafty Gals Corner (Polka Dots and/or Stripes), Creatalicous Challenges (Anything Goes with optional spots and/or stripes), AAA Cards (OLC no option)
Card #2 - Fab 'n Funky Challenges (Christmas), Sparkles Christmas Challenge (include a Reindeer)

  1. Hello Kylie: Love both your cards, I too find lots of inspiration over at Pinterest, this little gift, with it's polka dot wrapping is so pretty and so cute.
Your Christmas card with the little Reindeer is adorable, beautifully colored, those white spots are perfect on him, they reminded me I need a new white gel pen ASAP!!
Thank you for inviting me to be the "Less is More" Guest Designer for this challenge, it's a thrilling experience for me to join you this time around.
    Sending hugs.
    Maria.

  6. How clever you are! The spotty present is just magic and I'm so impressed that you drew the outline yourself - shame you're not still making stamps Kylie. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards, hope to see you join in with future challenge too.
