Celebrate!

Hi there! How are you all?

I've made a card today that is for my best friend's daughter. She just got her provisional drivers licence so I thought she would like a card to celebrate. How quickly the young 'uns grow up. I remember when this girl was born.. time flies.

Here is my card

The first thing I did was emboss my sentiment onto watercolour paper. Then I used two brushes - one clean and wet to lay down some water and then another to pick up my brusho watercolours and add it to the water I had laid on the paper. I repeated this process for each colour.

Once I was finished with the colour I gave the top and bottom a very light spray of water to get the ink to run a little.

I decided to mount it onto black cardstock so the colours would really pop.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges

(my sentiment is from STAMPlorations)

613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes (no option used)

Thanks so much for looking xx

  1. Love that gorgeous, bright rainbow Kylie! You have great control over those Brushos my friend . . . I'm afraid they run away with me and take control completely . . . I MUST master them! Hazel xx

  2. Love your watercolor card which I put in my wc folder. I followed your tips on how to drill a whole in the top of the Brusho bottle cap and it works well.
