Happy Birthday Balloons

Happy Sunday!

Yesterday I had a chance to play with some new PTI goodies that arrived on Friday. I bought a few stamp sets and a couple of die sets.

The challenge at Colour Q helped get me started with this fun birthday card -

I've used my little balloon dies from Lil' Inkers. I didn't quite have the colours I needed in my card stock stash so I sponged ink over white card stock instead.

The alphabet dies are from PTI as is the stamp from the Big Birthday set. I liked the effect of the negative space in the balloons.

Now looking at my card, perhaps I should have created some little balloon strings. Nevermind :)

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges

Thanks so much for looking xx

  1. This is such a happy card. I love it. Can you tell me please which of the several die alphabet sets you used from Papertrey ink? I would like to get that one.

  2. Such a fun and happy birthday card, Kylie! I love the rainbow of colors and the font on the sentiment is so pretty! By the way...I like the balloons without the strings on this card :)

  3. Love this sweet card. Die cutting the letters in the balloons looks great.

  4. I'm back Kylie, and see you are still partying! This is really cute... strings shwings... they've been left behind .. tied to the sign post that reads: Kylie knows how to throw a great party!
