CASE me a Christmas Card

Hello everyone! Today I joining Michelle Lupton with her annual Christmas card Challenge. This year Michelle has change it up a bit where instead of each designer giving her a theme for our cards, we are CASEing each other.

I didn't have to choose a Christmas card to CASE but in this instance I have :)

I used the reindeers from a Mama Elephant set, coloured them with my polychromo pencils, then die cut them out.
I die cut some small stitched squares then popped up the images with some foam tape. I used a chalk marker to create the background snow.

Here is Michelle's card -

Thanks for having me again this year, Michelle! You can check out which card of mine Michelle has CASEd HERE.

I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -

Cloudy Backgrounds

Hello! I have two Christmas cards to share with you today :)

I have once again used my new cloudy stencil from Lawn Fawn. I created with two completely different colours and just loved the effect!

Card #1
I wanted to create a night time sky which wasn't too dark. I used London Fog ink which worked really well.
I stamped then coloured the images (Lawn Fawn Ho-Ho-Holidays and Tiny Christmas) with my polychromos. I arranged them slightly off the edges to create 'movement'.

Card #2
I decided a slimline card was in order. This time I created a soft pink background using the cloudy stencil. These gorgeous mice are from Lawn Fawn Mice on Ice and the trees are from Winter Village. I originally had green trees but swapped them out for these pink ones :)

I would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges
Card #1 - ABC Christmas Challenge (V is for Vixen - Reindeer), STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge (Anything Goes), Christmas Crafts all year round - No Tricks, Just Treats), Crimbo Crackers (Anything Christmas Goes)

Less is More #431 - Recipe

It's Saturday, yay! We have a new challenge for you over at Less is More :)

I have made two cards using the same die cuts but just a slightly different layout. I die cut a heap of leaves (by Impression Obsession) using different card - normal cardstock, vellum, and mirror card. I created different arrangements for each card.

Card #1
The sentiment on this card is by Happy Little Stampers and called Especially for You. It can be purchased HERE. The scalloped rectangle is by Lawn Fawn.

Card #2
The sentiment on this one is from the Happy Little Stampers set called Mix Mash and you can purchase it HERE

Card #3
This card has been made using a Kaisercraft set called Paradise Found. I've stamped in grey ink and added the pink for a pop of colour.

Halloween & Christmas

I have a couple of fun cards to share with you today :)

Card #1
This is a new to my stash - Flight of Fancy by Stampin' Up!. I was completely inspired by the photo in the SU! catalogue showing off this set.
I created a mask for my moon and used distress inks to create the background. I flicked water over the panel and pressed down with some paper towel to create the texture. I also mixed some gold mica powder with water and flicked it on with a paint brush.
I coloured the image with polychromo pencils and fussy cut her out. She is popped up with foam tape.

The first photo doesn't show the shine of the mica powder. This photo isn't much good either but I hope you can see a bit of the shine :) The sentiment is from Lawn Fawns Spooky Village set.

Card #2
Another newbie to my stash. I bought the Cloudy Stencil by Lawn Fawn. Seriously, when I removed the stencil, the satisfaction of seeing the clouds was amazing! Remember the old days when you used to cut out a stencil? Not anymore, I LOVE this stencil.
I already had the Car Critters set by Lawn Fawn but decided to get the Christmas Add ons - they are adorable. The Santa is from the Tiny Christmas set.
I created the sentiment using words from the Ho-Ho-Holidays set. I wanted to include 'magic' in the sentiment as I had replaced Santa's sleigh with a flying car :)

I would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges -
Card #1 - Craft Rocket Challenges - Add Sparkle, Try it on Tuesdays (Halloween), Unicorn Challenges (Spooky or Cute), Mix it Up Challenge Blog (Distressing - Ink), Two Old Bats (Halloween)
Card #2 - Cute Card Thursday (Stamping), Fab 'n' Funky (Christmas), Ikes World (V is for Vehicles), Creative Sketchy Girls (Christmas)

As I have used a heap of NBUS, both cards will be linked up over at Darnell's blog.

Halloween cards for Kids

Hi everyone! I've made cards over the last few days for one of my co-workers. She has 3 kids and I thought they would like some fun Halloween cards.

Card #1
This stamp is from a Katzelkraft set called 'Sherlock' and is coloured with polychromo pencils. Those googly eyes were a last minute addition and I love them :)

Card #2
I used a Sizzix die for the trees and the ghosts are from Impression Obsession. The 'boo!' was created using alphabet dies by Papertry Ink. I used distress ink for the background and also flicked white and black paint over eveything :)

Card #3
Another cute Lawn Fawn scene using Spooky Village stamps and dies.

I would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges -
Card #1 - Creatalicious Challenges (Halloween), Two Old Bats (Halloween), AUD Sentiments (Halloween), Crafty Gals Corner (Halloween Colours)

Happy Halloween

Hello! I've made a card today for Halloween. Yep, Halloween! In Australia we don't usually celebrate this day, but it is getting more popular with the kids. At work we dress up for the day and scare a few people along the way, lol.

I wouldn't be game enough to trick and treat through this spooky village!

I've used Lawn Fawn's Spooky Village stamps and dies, Grassy Border Die, and Outside In Scalloped Rectangle dies. All the images were coloured with polychromo pencils. I actually stamped on watercolour paper and I like how it turned out.

I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -
Lawn Fawn (Halloween and Fall Inspiration Photo), Dragonfly Dreams (Spooky and Cute), Crafty Friends Challenge (Use more than 1 Die), Country View Challenges (Halloween: Make a Scene), Lost Coast Designs (Halloween),

Mrs. Christmas

A quick post from me this morning. I stamped onto kraft card and used my polychromo pencils to colour in. The pencils come up quite a treat on this colour base.

The sentiment is from the Christmas Joy set by Happy Little Stampers (this is available to buy HERE at a heavily discounted price).

Less is More #430 - CASE

Happy Saturday! It's time for a new challenge over at Less is More. This fortnight we are asking you to CASE our amazing leader, Sharon!

Here is Sharon's amazing card -

I absolutely loved CASEing this one. I loved the layout so kept it pretty much the same (the only difference is my placement of the sentiment). I changed up the colours - I used an ink smooshing technique with brushos and water to create my background panel using scraps of watercolour paper.

I added some silver mica powder to my brusho mix to give it shine. The flowers are by Paper Artsy which I coloured with polychromo pencils. I added a dot of silver sparkle with a pen to the middle of the flowers.

The flourish was die cut using a scrap of silver mirror card.
