HLS June CAS Challenge

 Hi everyone, it's time for a new CAS challenge over at Happy Little Stampers.

Here is my card -

I used new to me sets by Lawn Fawn called 'Love Poems' and ' You're just my type'. I simply stamped the images on my card panel and coloured them in with polychromo pencils. I stamped and die cut the mouse, added the sentiment, then popped it up with foam tape.

HLS April CAS Challenge

Hi everyone, I can't believe it's April already! But, I say that every year as each month passes lol.

It's time for a new Clean and Simple challenge over at Happy Little Stamper!

I have two cards to show you -

Card #1

Stamped quickly using an old Kaiserkraft set. I fussy cut the Hibiscus flower and popped it up with foam tape. The sentiment is an oldie but a goodie from Happy Little Stampers set Butterfly Birthday.

 

Card #2

The flamingo is from CTMH and the sentiment is by Ranger.

HLS February CAS Challenge

 Hi! It's time for a new CAS challenge over at Happy Little Stampers.

I decided to blend distress oxides on a panel of paper then die cut the 'Joy' from a Concord & 9th set. I smothered them with glossy accents, then added glass shards.

I used a pale pink to stamp my background snowflakes.

HLS January CAS Challenge

 Hi everyone, Happy New Year!!!

It's time for our first CAS challenge for 2022 over at Happy Little Stampers. It's Anything Goes!

Here is my card -

I stamped the cow and sentiment from the Lawn Fawn 'Hay There' set. I coloured the cow, die cut it, then popped it up with foam tape. Easy peasy!!

HLS October CAS Challenge

It's time for a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers and we want you to play along by entering a ONE LAYER CAS card.

My card uses the Altenew 'Ninja Invasion' stamp set. With a little masking, I was able to create my own sentiment using different stamps.

HLS September CAS Challenge

Hi everyone! It's time for a new CAS challenge over at Happy Little Stampers!

I have created two cards with very different winged things and themes.

Card #1

I used the Stampin' Up! 'Flight of Fancy' set and stamped my angel. I coloured the scene with pencils. The sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn set called 'Merry Messages'.

Card #2

This set is by Create a Smile and called 'Gull Gang'. I stamped the seagull then masked him so I could stamp the wooden stump. I them masked them both and used a Lawn Fawn stencil to create my waves. I also coloured these images with pencils.

HLS August CAS Challenge

 Hi everyone. A new CAS challenge is starting over at Happy Little Stampers. We have a fun theme for you -

Here is my card -

I used the HLS Butterfly Birthday dies to create a partial die cut edge. I then stamped the images and coloured them with pencils. I also used a banner die to partial die cut then stamped a sentiment.

If you have ever wondered how to create partial die cutting, I have an old (but relevant) video that can help you :)

I've used Lawn Fawn goodies called 'On the Beach'. There's nothing better than having fun and games on the beach! All images are coloured with polychromo pencils.

This image makes me smile. From Art Impressions called 'Got Style'. I have a feeling I won't be skateboarding when I get to her age, but it would be fun!

HLS April CAS Challenge

 Hi everyone! It's time for a new Clean and Simple challenge over at Happy Little Stampers!

I made two cards for this challenge

Card #1

I used the Avery Elle set called Fireside to create this little Christmas scene. I cut an aperture using a circle die so I could lay some coloured card for the background. Then I die cut a smaller circle to create my scene and stamp the sentiment (from Concord & 9th - Joy).

Card #2

I used these cute little images from the MFT Magical Dragons set. I die cut them then popped them up with foam tape. The sentiment is from the same set.

My first card uses a new set to me by Stampin' Up! called Pampered Pets. I stamped the dog and added three butterflies to follow our theme. 

My second card is a cute set by Lawn Fawn called Home for the Holidays. I stamped, coloured, and die cut the images. The sentiment is from the Winter Village set.

HLS February CAS Challenge

 Time for a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. Our Clean and Simple theme for this month is -

I created a two cute cards that would suit many occasions.

Card #1

I stamped the Lawn Fawn images from the 'RAWR' set and coloured them with polychromo pencils. I die cut them out and popped them up with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the same set.

Card #2

I used a SSS heart die and laid it over mirror card. I stamped my images (by Mama Elephant called 'Bear Hugs'), coloured them with polychromos, then fussy cut them out. I've used foam tape on them and the sentiment (by SSS 'Bestie') to pop them up.

HLS January CAS Challenge

 Hello and yay! Happy Little Stampers is back! It's a new year with new designers (and returning ones!) and a whole heap of new challenges.

Today is the start of our CAS challenge -

We are asking you to keep your creations Clean and Simple while following our theme of Short and/or Tall.

I went with an obvious Tall animal -

I've used a stamp set by Funky Fossil Designs called Wild Things. I stamped the giraffe and sentiment and added colour with my polychromo pencils.

I've used an image from the Katzelkraft set called Sherlock Holmes. I coloured this quirky character in with my polychromo pencils. The expression on his and the rabbit's face crack me up!
