HLS April CAS Challenge

Hi there everyone! We have had a really change in the weather. It's gone from stinkin' hot, what is this hell? to beautiful rain and pleasant temperatures. Hopefully it lasts.. it is the 2nd month of Autumn here in QLD, Australia but that means nuffink. Summer is still here and winter doesn't hang around for very long :(

We have a new monthly CAS challenge starting right now over at Happy Little Stampers!

That's right - one layer card. It's one of my favourites! No mess, no fuss!

I cut down a piece of watercolour paper and simply folded it in half to create my cardbase. I embossed the rose and coloured it in with my Zig pens.

I went over the entire thing with a glitter pen -

Don't forget the rules for a Clean and Simple card - lot's of open space, no clutter, minimal layers, and minimal embellishments. A one layer card is simply that - no layers whatsoever - just a piece of card folded in half .

See you over at the challenge blog :)

  1. The way you Kylie colored this rose is stunning. I love the shadows that create the depth of the image. And the leaves look like they're real. Great work with coloring. And I love the whole glow of this image.

  2. Wow Miss Kylie, your colouring is just terrific, what a fab one layer card
    Love it

  3. I agree with Chrissie, your colouring looks amazing and I love the added sparkle xx

  4. Gorgeous! Loving your beautiful colouring and all the glittery shine.
