Hello! Day Seven already! I hope you have been making heaps of Christmas cards by now and linking them up.
Each day I will create a Christmas card and hopefully inspire you to play along in my link up. I will be joined by a friend, daily, who will also create for you!
Here is my card - I combined the Christmas Joy sentiment with the Wreath from Merry Kissmas. I embossed them straight onto mirror card. Wasn't that a b*tch to photograph... Oh well, it looks really nice in real life :)
Today I have Julie Beech creating for us.
Wow, this colour scheme just makes my heart sing!
Thanks for joining us with your inspiration, Julie!
I love this design by Julie. The non-traditional colours really caught my attention.
Thanks for joining us with your inspiration, Julie!
I also have a little surprise for each of my guests. I decided that for each daily post, I would CASE one of their cards. I looked through just about every post these ladies had ever done and wow, the choices were nearly too much for my little brain ;)
I love this design by Julie. The non-traditional colours really caught my attention.
Here is Julie's card -
Thanks for asking me to participate with you and your other friends, such an honour!
ReplyDeleteLove your CASE of my purple pink snowy sky and yes mirror card is a tad difficult to photo! ;)
Love both your CASE'd card & the embossed card whose pic didn't do justice.
ReplyDeleteI am totally impressed with todays cards for 12 Days of Christmas and your CASE'd cards, Kylie and Julie

Kylie and Julie - what amazing cards - the colors and layouts are just gorgeous. And what a beautiful card to CASE - love them both!
ReplyDeleteI am on AWE of the first card. You photographed this so well. NEVER would I have tried to emboss on shiny card stock but now I might have to try. It looks AMAZING!! I love the purple on your CASE'd card. It is so rich!!
ReplyDeleteThese cards are all so bright and pretty Kylie with your beautiful gold embossed poinsettia and foliage on the red, and then Julie's lovely snowflakes and bright blue diecut sentiment on the gold and white stripes, and your CASEd card with the white stars which really pop against the purple, and love what you've done with the white sentiment on the white background. x
ReplyDeleteWow. The first one is shine on shine! Wonderful and very rich.
ReplyDeleteThe cased one is perfectly case. I love the watercolour look of the purple sky.
