12 Days of Christmas - Day Nine

Day Nine? Where has the time gone? The time is NOW to start getting those Christmas Cards ready so I hope we are inspiring you to create and play along.

Each day I will create a Christmas card and hopefully inspire you to play along in my link up. I will be joined by a friend, daily, who will also create for you!

Here is my card - a simple die cut and sentiment for the perfect quick and easy card!

Today I have Carol Steedman creating for us. Carol's wreath is just stunning! Perfectly embossed with the perfect sentiment.

Thanks for joining us with your inspiration, Carol!

I also have a little surprise for each of my guests. I decided that for each daily post, I would CASE one of their cards. I looked through just about every post these ladies had ever done and wow, the choices were nearly too much for my little brain ;)

Isn't Carol's card simply adorable! The little birds on the tree are gorgeous and I love her snowy scene.

Here is my card -

This card was created by using a watercolour panel which I embossed my snowflake and sentiment on. I then used a few colours from my Zig collection to scribble on the paper and used a water brush to blend it all together. A few little gems finished it off :)

12 Days of Christmas - Day Four

Hello! Day 4 already!

Each day I will create a Christmas card and hopefully inspire you to play along in my link up. I will be joined by a friend, daily, who will also create for you!

Here is my card -

I created this card with an Australian Christmas in mind. A lot of people take to the roads with their caravan and camping gear and holiday around the country. Actually, if you are crazy enough to travel at Christmas time, you will see every second car is towing a caravan lol.
This little die set is new to me and the first time I've used it. It's probably the last time... it was so fiddly, I ended up needing a stiff drink!

Today I have Ina Grehan creating for us. I love the gold embossed poinsetta's and sentiment and that background is stunning!

Thank you for joining us with your inspiration, Ina!

I also have a little surprise for each of my guests. I decided that for each daily post, I would CASE one of their cards.

HLS November CAS Challenge

Hey there everyone! Time for our CAS challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. Just a really quick post for me today.

Yep, this could be a tricky one but I thought outside the box!

My fantasy/dream would be to move to the UK. I love it over there! I used the HLS Wish you were here set for the London skyline and sentiment. I crossed out 'you' and replaced it with 'I'.

I hope to see you over at the challenge blog :)

HLS November Watercolour Challenge

Hi there everyone, time for a new month of challenges over at Happy Little Stampers :)

Our first challenge is -

Anything Goes! If you would like a break from the usual Halloween / Christmas themes, there is always a need for the odd get well card :)

I simply embossed my flower on watercolour paper, coloured it with my Zigs, fussy cut it out, then adhered it to my postage stamp die cut panel. The sentiment is also embossed.

I hope to see you over at the challenge blog.

You may have seen that the shop side of HLS is closing down :( The challenges will still run as normal!
