Inkspirational - One Layer Card

Hi there! Time for a new challenge over at Inkspirational. This fortnight we would like you to create only -

The best thing about one layer cards is they don't have to be any one design. They don't necessarily have to be CAS. You can keep layering with stencils and stamps to create amazing cards.

I have gone with a CAS style for my card and here it is -

I stamped my sentiment using my MISTI and then masked off that area with post-it tape. I stamped my holly quite randomly then removed the mask.

I used a ruler and pen to create the double lines. I coloured the holly with sharpie markers and then covered them with Wink of Stella.

Here are the products from HLS I used to create this card -

Sharpie Brush Tip Markers - 8 Pack    MISTI (Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented) - BACKORDER

Easy peasy!!! I hope you will play along at our challenge over at Inkspirational :)

Thanks for popping in today.

  3. This is a wonderful design for a one layer, I really love it -especially your drawn lines were a great idea for framing the sentiment. Beautiful shine and shimmer too!

  4. Your sprigs of holly, with the sentiment nestled among them, is absolutely gorgeous! The lines add such impact! If I could tape straight (yep...challenged in that department, too!), I'd give this design a go. On my 'must try' list for sure!

  6. How fantastic! Your masked lines look so perfect it looked like you added a strip on top of the leaves! Great one layer!
