Australian Themed Christmas Reveal Wheel Card

Hello! Another interactive from me and this one is based on an Australian Christmas.

The car is parked by the beach filled with presents for when everyone comes back for a BBQ after a swim :)

This is a reveal wheel card so the sentiment changes as the wheel is turned -

I stamped all my images, coloured them with polychromo pencils, then glued them onto the panels I had prepared. The grass was die cut with the Grassy Border Die, I used the Lawn Fawn stitched hillside border dies to create my sand and water and coloured with Distress inks.
I've used a number of other Lawn Fawn products - Car Critters stamps and dies, Life is Good stamps and dies, Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments, Ho-Ho Holidays stamps and dies.

I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -
Fezziwigs Festive Frolics (Interactive Card), Watercooler Wednesdays (Occasions), Christmas Crafts all Year 'Round (Two things starting with 'S' - Sand & Sun), Die Cut Divas (Holidays), The Merry Little Christmas Challenge (Anything Goes), The 12 months of Christmas Link Up (Say it with a Sentiment)

Thanks for coming by, I hope you have a great day.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Happy 1st Saturday of the month. That means that we have a new challenge over at the Penny Black Saturday challenge.

ANYTHING GOES with the option of YOUR FAVOURITE COLOURS

I have quite a few favourite colour combos and really couldn't decide what to use. I just decided to keep on with my Christmas card trend and ink up this new set I have. It's called To All... by Penny Black.

I stamped the image and coloured him with my polychromos. I added a layer of glossy accents to the christmas ornament although it's a little hard to see it in the photo.
The sentiment is from a Penny Black set called Holly Day Critters. I felt the way it curved around the image was just perfect.

Our wonderful guest designer for this challenge is Bonnie. She does AMAZING work with Penny Black stamps so don't forget to check out her blog.

The prize for this challenge is provided by our generous sponsor:
Prize - $20 voucher!

I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -
Christmas Craft Creations (Animals), Try it on Tuesday (Neat and Tidy), Your Next Stamp (Keeping it Clean), Cute Card Thursday (Anything Goes), Fezziwigs Festive Frolics (Santas little Helper), The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge (Anything Goes)

Christmas Rose

Just a quick post from me tonight to share with you a couple of cards I'd made a couple of weeks ago.

My first card features the new Stampin' Up! set called Christmas Rose. It's a two step stamp set but I just used the outline for this card. I embossed the image then used some Stampin' Up! inks with a water brush to colour. I distressed the edges using a pair of scissors (I couldn't find my distress tool).
There is sparkle on this card as I used a gold ink to colour the berries - unfortunately you can't see it very well in the photo :(

My grandson turns 3 in November, can you believe it! I have obviously made him birthday cards but sometimes I just make something just because. I put the cards away in a box for when it's time to give them to him :)
This card combines new sets by Stampin' Up! called A Grand Kid (I had to have this!) and Flight of Fancy.
I coloured this cute cupid with polychromos, stamped the sentiment, then added little gems to finish off.

I would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges -
Card #1 - Krafty Chicks (Stamp Act), Watercooler Wednesdays (Anything Goes with a Feminine Twist), Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas (Anything Goes), Simon Says Stamp (Stamp It)
Card #2 - Craft Rocket Challenges (Baby/Kid), Unicorn Challenge (For a Child), Daisy Chain Challenges (For the Boys), Send a Smile to Kids (Anything Goes)

Thanks for popping in today - wish me luck as this is my first post using the new blogger....

Total Opposites

Me again with another coupla cards :)

I have one card that is completely CAS (my favourite style) and one card that is totally over the top including being interactive!

Card #1
This card is inspired by the current challenge at AAA cards. It's a sketch with an optional twist of: At the Movies. My card is based on the 1995 Australian film 'Babe'.

Card #2
Yes, another reveal wheel card. This time it's for Christmas. I spent most of the day getting it all ready (well in between housework and other boring things) by stamping a heap of images and colouring them in, die cutting all the elements, then putting it all together. I'm really happy with how it turned out!

When you spin the wheel, the sentiment changes -

I would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges -
Card #1 - AAA Card Challenge (Sketch + option), My Time to Craft (CAS), Seize the Birthday (Anything Goes)
Card #2 - Timeout Challenges (Season: I chose Winter), Simon Says Stamp (Anything Goes), Shopping our Stash (Pile it On). Allsorts (Going round in Circles)

Thanks again for popping in :)

Reveal Wheel Card

Hello! I'd like to share my very first reveal wheel card :)

I ordered goodies direct from Lawn Fawn a number of weeks ago. Shipping from the US to Australia took what seemed forever (I guess due to Covid) so it really was happy mail when it finally arrived!

Just in time for Father's Day which is next weekend, yay!

I used the Reveal Wheel die, Car Critters stamps and dies, and the tree is from the Down Under Critters set. I was inspired by the cards made over at Lawn Fawn to mask and ink up the road and grass. Everything else was coloured with polychromos.

Below is a collage of all the photos when you turn the wheel. You can see how the little bears change :)

I also bought the reveal wheel stencil for the Car Critter add on and it gives you the option of revealing either 3 or 4 windows. I went with the 3 to begin with.

I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -
Just Add Ink (Just add Guys), Lawn Fawn (Make the sentiment the star), Cute Card Thursday (Inky), Watercooler Wednesdays (Occasions), Cardz 4 Guyz (Explore Outdoors)

Thanks for dropping in today and enjoy your weekend :)

Less is More #427 - Chalkboard Technique

Hello and welcome to Saturday and another new challenge over at Less is More!

We have a lucky dip challenge - check it out:

Card #1
This card was used by simply white embossing onto black card and then using a sponge and white ink to create the look of a blackboard (that's what we call them in Australia). I added the sequins for a pop of colour

Card #2
I continued with the same colour scheme and created a card without a sentiment so it could be used down the track. I thought this stamp paired well with the blackboard as it looks like this cool cat is at school :)

I would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges -
Card #1 - Crimbo Crackers (Anything Christmas Goes), Watercooler Wednesdays (Occasions), Mix it Up Challenge (Embossing)
Card #2 - CRAFT (Back to School), Krafty Chicks (All Occasions), Paper Funday (Back to School), Show us your Pussies (Furrything Goes)

Thanks for popping in today and I hope to see you over at the challenge blog :)

Less is More #426 - Doodles

Hi! It's time for a new challenge over at Less is More! We have a fun recipe for you -

I have made three cards using our recipe.

Card #1
This little fella is from the Paper Artsy set called Christmas Characters. I first saw this set at the Happy Little Stampers retreat I held in the UK about 4 years ago. I believe Kathyk may have been the owner of this set?? Anyway, it was a set I ordered as soon as I got home. I loved the little doodle-like pattern on his jumper :)

Card #2
This is a new set for me by Waffle Flower called 'Springtime'. I love the doodled type images. I coloured them with my polychromo pencils then die cut them so I could arrange them onto a small panel.

Card #3
I had some left over images from the card above so I went with a pink base and popped it up with some foam tape. I embossed the sentiment then finished it off with a trio of clear sequins.

I would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges -
Card #1 - Krafty Chicks (Christmas), Christmas with the cuties (Animals), Merry Little Christmas Challenge (Anything Goes)
Card #2 - Make My Monday (CAS), Die Cut Divas (Flowers)
Card #3 - CAS on Friday (Nature), Darnell's NBUS Challenge (Anything New Goes)

Thank you for popping in today, I hope you find the time to play along with us over at Less is More :)

Penny Black Saturday Challenge {Midway Reminder}

Hi there everyone! I'm back today to remind you about our current challenge over at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

Our theme is Anything Goes with the option of making the sentiment as the focus.

I thought this sentiment was perfect as the focus for a birthday card. It's a set by Penny Black called Birthday Love. The 'shy hedgehog' is a wood mounted stamp that I found on a de-stash site. Isn't he cute!

I coloured Mr Hedgehog with my polychromo pencils.

I would like to enter my card over at the following challenges -
Try it on Tuesday (Words), Watercooler Challenges (Occasions), Seize the Birthday (Anything Goes), Craft Rocket Challenges (Birthday)

Thanks for popping in and I hope to see you over at the challenge :)

These sort of cards take forever to make but I really love them!

Less is More #425 - Summer Flowers

Welcome to Saturday and a new challenge over at Less is More!

We have a fun theme for you of Summer Flowers. Even though it's the dead of winter here, I'm lucky to live in a part of Australia where the climate allows for flowers all year round. I made three cards for this challenge so I hope you enjoy them :)

We are also very happy to have a Guest Designer joining us - Meghan Kennihan - Don't forget to visit her :)

Card #1
This is a lovely set by Penny Black called 'Tenderness'. I stamped them on watercolour paper and used my Zigs and a water brush to colour them in.

Card #2
This is a set by STAMPlorations called "Rosebuds". These were also stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Zigs. The sentiment was embossed on black card.

Card #3
This is a really fun set by Simon Says Stamp called "Artsy Flower Parts". I stamped the images around the sides of the card and coloured them with polychromo pencils.
