Gone Fruity!

A quick post from me tonight. I've had a quick play in the craft room after being inspired by a few challenges around blog land.

Here are my cards -

Card #1
I created a pineapple background for this card using a two part stamp from the 'One in a Melon' set  by Close to my Heart.A simple sentiment from HLS 'Smile!' set to complete :)

Card #2
I created 'grass' using the top of my pineapple after masking the complete pineapple. I then added the sentiment, once again, from the HLS 'Smile' set.

The theme over at the Twofer Challenge is 'Fruit'. I have made two different cards for two different occasions using the same stamp :)

I would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges -
Card #1 - Tuesday Throwdown (Create your own Background), Double Trouble Challenges (Again and Again), Your next Stamp (Create your own Background)
Card #2 - Unicorn Challenge (Anything Goes)

Thanks for popping in! :)

  1. Love both of your personalized stamped cards, and great idea using the top of the pineapple for grass and the two tone is just what it needed. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and please come back to join us with future fun challenges too.

  5. How terrific to see a pineapple in Blogland, Kylie! I can't remember the last time I did and I just love this one and how you used it to build your card designs! It's great as a birthday background and it's brilliant how you used the top as grass for your second cheerful design!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #24! Hugs, Darnell
