Inkspirational Challenge #189 - Garden

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at Inkspirational. I hope you will play along.

To be honest, I struggled with this challenge. I tried a number of cards trying to reflect garden. In my garden, we have a variety of native plants and lot's of flowers. We also have quite a lot of wildlife - kookaburras, wallabies, etc. I also own 2 Indian Running ducks that roam around the yard. We even have snakes at times... So, I was going to create an Australian themed garden card but nothing worked :(
I went with a good old flower. Even though it's winter in Australia, where I live the temperature doesn't get too cool so everything flowers all year around.

Here is my card -

I embossed the flower and leaves (from CAS-usal Fridays) and coloured them with my Zig watercolour markers. I also embossed the sentiment and die cut it with a banner die. I popped everything up with foam tape. The background is a cover die which is really pretty.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges -

Thanks for popping in today :)

  11. I can struggle with a theme if I have no ideas at all, but also when I’ve got too many and can’t focus on one direction to take. Sounds like that is what happened to you. But honestly, it does t show by your finished card, it’s elegant, it’s a beautifully colored flower sitting on a beautiful background.
