HLS July Christmas Challenge

Hi again!

July has got me REALLY excited because the countdown is on. I'm off to the UK to host the first every Happy Little Stampers Craft Retreat. It's a massive journey from Australia by the time we will finally land in London but it will be totally worth it.

The retreat was an idea I had about 18 months ago and there has been a lot of planning involved. The moment I mentioned it to my mum, she wanted to come straight away! I was then telling my bestfriend, Simone, about the trip and encouraged her to think about coming. She said yes! Low and behold when Simone mentioned it to her mum, she wanted to come too! So, it has gone from a trip on my own to an amazing adventure with three amazing women! We can't wait!

Only 18 more sleeps until we leave Australia!!

Ok, on to the real reason I am posting today lol.

Happy Little Stampers started off July with the CASE the Designer (Carol Steedman) and CAS challenges so far. We are now ready to inspire you with our Christmas Challenge.

That's right - use gold on your Christmas creation!

Here is my card -

I created a mask so I could stamp my own Christmas tree. I used the Mix Mash, Bold Birthday Sentiments and Mixed Christmas Sentiments for this card.

Here is a close up of the glittery goodness once I had coloured in the circles with my WOS gold pen.

This is a one layer card and very easy to create. Perfect for popping in the mail!

Here are the HLS sets that I have used -

Here is a video showing you how I created cards similiar to this one :)

As always if you play along in any or all of our challenges at Happy Little Stampers -

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges -

Just Add Ink - Add 'S' - I added Sparkle
One Layer Simplicity - Christmas in July

Thanks for popping in today. There are also new Design Team members over at the challenge blog so don't forget to say hi to them!

  4. So so clever, love how you've made a tree from circles. And it's getting a bit warmer here in the UK now, still wet though so make sure you bring some sunshine with you!
