Valentine Inspiration

Today, over at Inspired by Stamping, we are sharing Valentine's Day card ideas especially for the girls.

I stepped out of my comfort zone with this card and created something that was the complete opposite of my normal style of Clean and Simple.

Here is my card -

I started with a piece of Vanilla cardstock and embossed the top panel with a swirl folder. I found a little packet of Vintage postcards and stamped the I love you and xoxo from the Teeny Tiny Greetings Set

Then I stamped the ticket from the Vintage Tickets set and fussy cut it out. I used a peg to hold the ticket and postcard together. I placed them on top of a doily and then started to arrange my flowers.

I've used a white daisy and red roses for the arrangment. So beautiful together!

Last of all, I added two die cut hearts.

The cream, white and red colour combination really complimented each other and I loved how it all came together.

Here are the supplies that I have used for this card -

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges

Thanks so much for looking xx

  3. WOWSER Kylie! As soon as I saw this, I thought WOW and then I thought, 'this is a very different style that I'm used to seeing of Kylie's', then I read the post. But although it has quite a bit going on, it is so well put together that it is still very clean and fresh . . . CAS dressed to go out . . . elegant and sophisticated . . . breathtaking! Hazel xx
