ATSM Challenge #79

Goodmorning! I am back today to share with you my DT cards for the lastest challenge at ATSM.

We are asking you to create something

CLEAN AND SIMPLE

This morning I have my card class that I am hosting (which my students have named Kylie's Kards). Sammie (one of my students) brought a stamp set over a few weeks ago asking if we could use it in one of our classes. It's an old SU set, but I had fun trying differnet ways to use these stamps.

For those of you who may still have it, I have used the Sent with Love set by Stampin' Up!


Here we go with my DT cards -



This first card was fun to make. I haven't made a rosette for ages! I enjoyed plugging in the old glue gun again, lol. My favourite accessory while using the glue gun is my silicon mat. It makes it so easy to assemble bits and pieces without the hot glue damaging anything.

The red and white is very 'lovey dovey' for Valentines. I had also forgotten how much I love the Polka Dot Parade DSP!




I like the colour scheme of this one. The Island Indigo is a beautiful colour and works well with the Real Red and Whisper White.


I have used a lot of dies for these cards. They have all come from either the Thinlits Label Card Die pack or the Thinlints Circle Card Die pack. Those extra dies you get are so cool. I think this is the first time I have probably used Chevrons on a card... (gasp!). The heart die is from the Hearts A Flutter set.

I hope they enjoy making these cards today. I also have a VIP guest for my card class. My 10 year old niece will be joining us. She and her brother arrived today with their dad all the way from Canberra. They have just started the big move up to Queensland so I am going to see a lot more of them from now on. Hopefully it wont be long before my sister will join them. She's doing the hard yakka back in Canberra until she can secure a job up here in the Sunshine State.

    Both cards are super CAS, Kylie. I'm loving the dry embossing on the first one, though -- makes me want to touch the card!!

    Great cards, Kylie! I love the rosette...I was just looking at some wreaths I made today and wondering what was I thinking hot gluing all those blasted rosettes together! lol The red looks great on the white. It really pops nicely!

    These are both wonderful! I love the embossing in the first card and after seeing everyone's red and white creations, I think I have to make one myself... The second card has a very funky layout! xxx

    Both fab cards, love the second one as the colour scheme is really funky. Sounds like your VIP will be joining you a lot and we will hopefully get to see her cards soon and how fab to have more family moving close to you xx

    Two beautiful cards, Kylie! I love the embossing and rosette on the first and red and white is one of my most favourite colour schemes. Love the colours and layout on the second one too.     Kylie - you're on a roll! Both these are absolutely fab! I love the texture in the first card. But my favourite is the second - I really like the way the red pops against the Island Indigo!

    Both cards are amazing Kylie. Gorgeous rosette. I haven't made one in ages - seem to have a hard time getting it to stay together when I do - argh. Love all the die cuts - just terrific. Hugs D
