ATSM Make your Mark!

It's a new week over at Addicted to Stamps and More!

Our new challenge is 'Make your Mark'. We LOVE this challenge because anything goes and we get to colour in!! :)

The rules are simple - create a project and incorporate your markers. Easy peasy.

Here is my DT card -

I have stamped my image (from Elements of Style set) onto blender paper and then used my Stampin' Write markers to colour it in. I then used a circle die to grab just a portion of the image. The DP is from my stash - I have distressed the edges on one piece and then torn the ends of the other two. I have secured the ribbon with an antique brad.

Now, here is another card that I wanted to share with you.

I watched a lesson from my Online Card class last night and then couldn't wait to make it. I put this together very quickly and I can see how I can make improvements with my colour choices etc. I just LOVE how this card turned out -

As I said in a previous post, I seem to be quite partial to butterflies. The technique here was Partial Die Cutting so you get the effect of the butterflies popping off the top of the card. I LOVE THIS!!!

I have coloured the butterflies with my Touch Twin Markers and then traced around them with a grey colour to really help them pop.

We have another fabulous prize to give away this week - it's a pamper pack wooo hoooo!!

Our lucky winner for this challenge will receive -

That's over $30 worth of beauty products!

Head on over to ATSM and check out the rest of the DT and get cracking with your markers!

Thanks for looking xx

  1. Hi Kylie. Love your marker card ... fabulous coloring with the Elements of Style stamp (so pretty!). Love the layers of DP with the distressing and ripped edges - very vintage looking.

Your butterfly card is amazing. What a fabulous technique with the partial die-cut - will have to give it a try (if I can figure it out!) :) Loll xx

  5. I love that flower stamp too - must remember to pull it out and use it soon. This is so soft and lovely with its subtle distressing and the spotlight on the flowers.
