Inkspirational #166

Time for a new challenge at Inkspirational. Sandie has set a time challenge as her choice for this fortnight.

Here is my card -

My card is very CAS. A die cut frame, an embossed butterfly (from the HLS Butterfly Birthday set) coloured with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers and stamped sentiments using my MISTI. The sentiments are from the HLS Smile! set.

This card took me about 6 mins to put together. I have to admit that I forgot to set a timer... I did happen to look at a clock, though :)

The 10 mins starts when you actually start making your card-you can collect all the items you need to make the card before you start that clock!
We would love to know how long it took you to make this-just for fun!

Because you can get all your supplies ready, 10 minutes should be plenty of time to create something. It doesn't have to be CAS, just go with your own process.

See you over at Inkspirational :)

HLS Monthly Spotlight - Whimsical Friends

Welcome to the new Monthly Spotlight for Happy Little Stampers. This month we are revisiting Whimsical Friends :)

For this card, I used distress ink and a stencil to create my soft background. I stamped, coloured, and fussy cut my elephant, then used my MISTI to stamp my sentiment.

Inkspirational #165

Hi everyone. It's time for a new challenge at Inkspirational. We have a relative easy theme for you this fortnight - Birthday!

Here is my card -

I have a few new things in my stash that I wanted to play with. The cover die and mirror card are newcomers. I've used mirror card before but had run out. I especially love using it for die cut sentiments.

The stamped sentiment is from the HLS Everyday Sentiments set. The butterfly was a freebie from the HLS Craft Retreat a couple of years ago.

Here is the word prompt graphic to share -

Turquoise Thanks

Hey everyone. I'm here today just for fun :) I have been trying to get ahead with my DT stuff and made a number of cards. The one I am sharing with you today is just something that I made because I could lol.

I created this using a combination of Brusho watercolour and Zig Watercolour pens.

I started by sprinking Turquoise Brusho crystals onto my craft mat, spritzing them with water and smooshing my card. I also added a bit of turquoise mica powder to the mix. I dried my panel in between smooshes.

I used my MISTI to stamp all of my images and embossed them with white powder.

I coloured my arrangement with my Zigs (Light Blue, Turquoise Green, Cobalt Blue, and May Green). Once dry, I fussy cut them out and adhered them to my panel. I finished them off with an overlay of glitter.

Guest Designing at AAA Cards

Hi everyone! We are celebrating Christmas in July around Australia and I'm sure in many other parts of the world. Lot's of Aussies dream of a White Christmas due to it being so hot here in December. We still put on a spread for lunch though - hot and cold. It makes the kitchen not the place you want to be!

I am Guest Designing over at AAA Cards for their new challenge - Christmas in July

Here is my card -

I created a template so I could stamp my circles to create my tree.

I coloured them in with wink of stella pens.

HLS July Watercolour Challenge

Welcome everyone! How are you? July?? Where did you pop up from?

July is actually my birthday month and we have a very fitting theme for our new watercolour challenge over at Happy Little Stampers!

Well, anything goes really but you may like to join us with our optional twist :)

Here is my card -

I had actually looked around pinterest and found a card that I loved and wanted to CASE it. Now I can't find the link for it because I made this card some time ago but it was a lady from PTI.

I die cut my panel and embossed my stars with clear powder. I used my zig markers to scribble colour and wash it out with a water pen. I embossed the sentiment from Dandelion Wishes on a smaller panel that I had watercoloured the same way.

Supplies:

I hope you will join in with us over at Happy Little Stampers!
