Anything Goes at ATSM

Hi! Back around to Wednesday and Challenge #141 at Addicted to Stamps and More!

Anything Goes!!!

Here is my DT card -

Would you believe I made this card a couple of weeks ago knowing that the Lil' Inker Monthly meet up was coming up and looking at the DT inspiration there... I may as well have CASED Maureen!! LOL. (Bugger! I missed the deadline completely!!)

My panel was left over from previously using the Brushos, Starch and Cling Wrap technique.

A very simple card. Embossed sentiment and little clouds popped up with foam pads.

Our wonderful sponsor this week is

and you could be the winner of 4 digis from the store!

Pop on over to the challenge blog where you will see tonnes of inspiration!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Time Out - Inspired by Words (I chose Rain)

Thanks so much for looking xx

Less Is More and The Paper Players

Hello!!

The challenge this week over at Less is More is to create something mainly black and white and add a splash of colour. The Paper Players are saying that 'There is love in the air'.

I have used Whisper White and Basic Black cardstock for this one.
The stamp is from my Itty Bitty set and stamped with Real Red.

I have embossed the white panel with my Swiss Dots folder and then popped it up on dimensionals.
The hearts are popped up on little foam squares.

Check out these awesome challenges!

The Paper Players - Sketch

The ladies over at The Paper Players have provided a sketch for us to have a go at. As soon as I saw the sketch, I wanted to create something masculine and use a gorgeous stamp set called The Open Sea. I started with using Crumb cake cardstock as my base and then decided to use my First Edition DSP as well. The next panel of Crumb Cake, I have used some of the stamps to create my own DP. Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla all worked very well together.

I wrapped some hemp twine around the card and even tried to create a fisherman's knot on the anchor. I'm happy with the end result.

Thanks for looking xxx

IBSIC #20 & The Paper Players

Just a quick post for tonight.

A new challenge has been announced today over at Inspired by Stamping. It's a sketch challenge. I also wanted to enter The Paper Players challenge which is Tic Tac Toe.

I decided on Floral, Dry Embossing and Favourite Colour (Red).
The sentiment from a set called Petite Pairs and I have used my Framelit Dies to border the sentiment. I decided to only emboss the red panels to define the textures.

Here is the sketch

The gorgeous little flowers you see are ones that I purchased from Inspired by Stamping.

The Paper Players - Wordsmith

Gee, it feels like a long time since I have played at this challenge. Actually, it is! The point of this challenge is to create a Clean & Simple Card using Words as your main focal point.

I've created a card that has the first panel embossed with a Script folder. I also really wanted to use the Versamarker technique on this card. I stamped my Elements of Style stamp with Whisper White ink then drew around the edges of the stamp with my Versamarker.

The sentiment has been punched using my ornament punch and then just rounding off the top. I thought it made a really nice tear drop shape.

So my words are obviously created with my Script embossing folder and my sentiment.

Here is my card -

Touch Twin Markers Colour Challenge Day 3 & Paper Players Challenge #98

Well! Didn't I have fun today.

My new Touch Twin markers arrived a couple of days ago but I haven't had many chances to give them a go. I was also doing the old googling to see how to use them!

I am going to enter this card into my first time challenge at Touch Twin Markers. I hope I have used the markers correctly. My main problem is that I don't have a very good idea for shadows etc. I was happy with the end result and I guess that's all that matters lol.

You can find their challenge HERE

I also entered the Paper Players Challenge but was really not happy with my card. The theme is summertime, so I felt this card could also be incorporated into that challenge as well. You can find their challenge HERE

Oh! Here is my card lol!

I used the masking technique for the park bench and the little girl as they are two separate stamps.

The Paper Players Challenge #98

I, once again, used a very CAS design. This is a cute little stamp set called Sunny Fun. My creativity wasn't exactly in tune tonight but this is the end result :)

The challenge can be found here - Paper Players Challenge #98

The Paper Players Challege #96

Well, this morning I decided to have a go at the new challenge posted at Paper Players Challenge #96: Anne Marie's CAS with Polka Dots Challenge. I looked at everything I had that incorporated polka dots. I ended up on Polka Dot overload lol!!!

Everything used on the card has polka dots in one way or another. All paper and stamps - Stampin' Up! This was really fun!

The Paper Players Challenge #95

Hi again,

Yep, I've done yet another card. I'm really, really tired lol. My rooster is in competition with another one and decides he must crow BEFORE the sun comes up. Ugh....

Anyway, apart from my poultry issues, I decided to enter a challenge called The Paper Players Challenge #95: Ann's Colour Challenge

Here are the colours -

I was a bit iffy about doing these colours because I really only have Daffodil Delight (I've only just really started at Stampin' Up).

I pretty much just used what I felt was close enough to the challenge - the point is to have fun and get inspiration right? LOL!

I used all Stampin' Up products except the stamp (shhhhhh). It was one I've had for a while and thought the colours would be good with her raincoat etc.

I can't wait to see the other creations for this challenge. I love looking at all the wonderful cards!

PS - Sorry the card is crooked LOL!
